Either B is right and we all have to work like dog-slaves for the forces of capitalism or there is another way.
You read about people like Alvaar Aalto who just went for long walks in a park or just hung out in a log cabin reading a book. The U.K. really is like a slave colony with no kind of “other side of the coin”. It’s like work at Greggs till you drop and you can cram your leisure into 2 weeks once a year. It’s frankly a really [expletive] way to run a country.
