Horace, Blake & Virginia Cowles

Paid a few bills.

Bought a book I’ve partially read before called “Horace & Me” by Harry Eyres. It’s written from the point of view of a Roman living through the dying days of empire, so potentially quite relevant to now.

I also bought a book about WW2 correspondent Virginia Cowles who survived the fall of Paris amongst other spectacular and dangerous wars and events.

In the picture is a William Blake book I was reading from last week.
